    Hi Matt and Tina!

I want to suggest Landscape, Nightscape and Astro for one of the challenge. It would be awesome if you guys could do that!

Hey Matt and Tina. Great video :-) YES, please do an analog challenge with the Hassy (we all know that you, Matt, is way more clumsy than Tina, so it should be in safe hands :-) :-)

Great videos - really come a long way in a few years!

How about a manual focus challenge? You could try Tina with some AI-S lenses and the Zeiss 135mm...

There is so much to shoot in these situation I say continue on with travel. Learning to see a shot is what is about from the start...if you can't see it, then the rest is boring. Teaching what to look for and angles, then work on light. There was so much in the video to shoot at in a shot, you could spend months on it. Close ups, group shots isolating a person in a group, colors, textures, patterns...it was all there. Now dissect it all in each new adventure, but make it about how to SEE.

    Hi Matt and Tina,

The videos were amazing! Aside from very entertaining theres is a lot of great tips and lessons to be had. I was hoping if you could do a macro photography challenge. I think this would really be a great challenge to do especially good to learn as well.

    Cheers

    Great episode Tina and Matt!
Not so sure that the Hassy is a good one, since there are so few of us who could afford one, let alone justify that purchase. Maybe an episode on urban landscapes, or rural sunsets would be a good idea.

Back to basics challenge for Tina, film, manual only camera, must be able to visualize your shot because you have no preview of what you took. Good luck and have fun.

During the waterfall shot Tina mentioned not having done landscapes, can I suggest a landscape challenge at dawn or dusk.

Was interesting and some good do`s and dont`s. Im off to Disneyland Paris next month with the family and Im taking my D800, 70-200 2.8 tamron, 50mm 1.8D nikkor and my tamron 16-300. Even though the 16-300 will make the D800 shoot in DX I will prob use that with a mix of the 50mm for full frame (very excited).

One thing I did notice though was that the videoing camera was set to auto focus when you and Tina were sitting still and it kept losing focus on you but Im sure you noticed that.

As some others have mentioned, Landscapes, Night and Astro photography. As well I would suggest Property and Architectural photography. You might be able to hit up Dom Bower for some tips on Property photography.

"Parent photography"...including...(1) indoor sports photography (basketball, volleyball, etc, under high-school-type lighting)...(2) kids running around (prefer inside / low-ish light)...(2) kid's performances (indoor, stage lit, short and long distance).

iPhone / Android imaging...this would be quite useful for a LOT of people, would bring MANY new people to MattGranger.com, and, in the meantime, expose them to so much more in the way of photography.

Do a few posed street portrait but with off camera flash as opposed to natural light. That should be fun!

I would like to see something on HDR, when to use it and how to use it effectively. Recently in Kauai I had the opportunity (I trespassed) to take some very quick shots of an old Sugar Mill. The sky was washed out, and in hind site HDR might have helped those images. I was able to get one to work in Lightroom, but the other not so much.
