This shot was taken in Yoyogi Park in Tokyo - in February this year - the day after the huge snow storm that had closed the CP+ camera show.

Shooting Sydney Icon Justin Hemmes was a challenge for a few reasons.

Being a photographer is 80% people skills and persistence. To get this striking, but relatively simple shot took dedication, a bit of sweet talking, and bribery!

Technically, this was an easy shot to create – but it taught me another important lesson.
